Puff pastry bunnies
Puff pastry bunnies are simply part of the Easter coffee table! With the Hazelnut Spread from Frusano, the puff pastry bunnies become an indulgent delicacy!
Preparation time: approx. 25 min.
Resting time: approx. 30 min.

Quantity: approx. 20 bunnies
Ingredients:
- 1 pack of gluten-free puff pastry
- 2 heaped tablespoons Frusano Hazelnut Spread
- 100 grams of cream (lactose-free)
Preparation:
- Leave the puff pastry to rest at room temperature for approx. 30 minutes. Then roll up and divide into two halves.
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees top/bottom heat.
- Spread one half of the puff pastry with Hazelnut Spread, leaving approx. 1 cm of space around the edges.
- Brush the empty edges with water.
- Place the second half of the puff pastry on top of the chocolate puff pastry and press in with a fork.
- Cut strips approx. 1 to 1.5 cm wide with a knife.
- Lay the strips on top of each other like a bow and then roll them on top of each other again (see video). Place on a baking tray.
- Bake for approx. 20 minutes (depending on the pack instructions).
- Remove the bunnies from the oven and leave to cool.
- Whip the cream until stiff and place in a piping bag. Pipe a small dollop of cream from the piping bag onto each bunny (as a tail).
