French Toast

Our French toast is a light and healthy breakfast that is perfect for starting the day off right.

Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of gluten-free toast
  • 1 egg
  • 75 ml of your favourite milk (lactose-free)
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Frusano grain sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of butter
  • 2 tablespoons of Frusano organic rice syrup
  • 10 blueberries 

Preparation:

  1. Toast the bread slices and allow to cool slightly. 
  2. Mix the milk, egg and cinnamon together in a baking dish. 
  3. Soak the toasted bread slices in the mixture for approx. 1 minute. 
  4. Heat the butter and grain sugar in a pan and fry the soaked slices of toast on both sides until golden brown. 
  5. Place on two plates and pour the rice syrup over them. 
  6. Garnish with the blueberries.
