Winter chocolate mousse

Airy, chocolaty, aromatic. Our Christmas low FODMAP chocolate mousse literally melts in your mouth and is the perfect winter dessert with its delicate cinnamon and clove flavors.
Preparation time: approx. 45 min.
Resting time: min. 3 hrs.
Difficulty level: easy
Quantity: 6 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 400 g lactose-free whipped cream, chilled
  • 2 bars (170 g) Frusano Dark Chocolate
  • 3 tbsp mulled wine spice
  • ½ tsp. cinnamon

Decoration as desired:

Preparation:

  1. Bring 150 g of whipped cream with 3 tablespoons of mulled wine spice to a brief boil in a saucepan. Remove the cream from the heat and let it stand for 30 minutes. Strain the mulled wine spice.
  2. Break 170 g organic dark chocolate into pieces and dissolve completely in the warm cream. If necessary, put the pot back on the stove at a low temperature for this. Stir in the cinnamon and set the saucepan aside until the mixture has cooled slightly.
  3. Whip the remaining cream. Gently fold the chocolate mixture into the cream and divide among 6 glasses. Alternatively, pour the mixture into a large bowl to cut off dumplings later. Chill the chocolate mousse for at least 3 hours.
  4. Finally, if desired, use a tablespoon to twist dumplings out of the mousse and arrange on plates. Decorate the plates/glasses with raspberries or organic dark chocolate as desired.
