Symptoms of Histamine Intolerance
The most common symptoms of Histamine Intolerance include:
- Headaches
- Migraines
- Racing heart
- Dizziness
- Fatigue
- Circulation problems
- Flushing (redness of the face, neck, and possibly upper body)
- Rash
- Itching
- Swelling
- Nausea
- Stomach pain
- Gas
- Diarrhea
As Histamine Intolerance is a pseudo-allergy, anaphylactic shock can occur in the worst cases.
Not only is the range of symptoms great, but so are their manifestations. Some sufferers may experience only a slight runny nose after the consumption of histamine rich foods, while others may suffer from severe stomach cramps and massive circulatory problems.
