Our food is made specially for people who suffer from hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI), fructose malabsorption, or are following a low FODMAP diet.
Since 2006, Frusano has been developing and curating food specifically designed for those on a low fructose diet. Our company was founded to provide good snack foods for people with hereditary fructose intolerance, so our fructose levels are extremely low. Our extensive product range includes chocolate, spreads, syrups, beverages, candy, cookies and much more.
We do not use refined sugar nor artificial sweeteners nor alditols (e.g. sorbitol) nor, this goes without saying, high-fructose corn syrups (hfcs). All our food is sweetened by fructose-free glucose syrup or pure glucose for a healthy, mild sweetness that tastes good and feels great. Everything we make is extremely low in fructose, sucrose and sorbitol, making it appropriate for a low FODMAP diet. In addition, most of our products are organic, lactose-free and gluten-free.
