Lime

Lemons and limes give many dishes a special touch. The pleasant acidity refines salads, sauces for light meats and fish, soups, cakes, desserts and cocktails.
A splash of lemon or lime juice also prevents the browning of sliced fruit and makes the meat tender as part of marinade. The aromatic peel of untreated citrus is often used as seasoning. That’s good enough reason for Frusano to use limes in our products! One of our latest developments – lime iced tea with stevia.

Good to know

Limes, the little sister of the lemon, are cold-sensitive and thrive only in a tropical climate. They contain less vitamin C than lemons, but more calcium, potassium and phosphorus. In Germany, the Persian lime is usually available - with a tough green peel, light green pulp and only a few seeds. In general, limes are smaller, with a stronger tart flavor and more juice.

For individuals with an average tolerance about 100g makes a good test.
