Pancake & Waffle Baking Mix

Fluffy pancakes from Frusano - quick and easy to prepare. The gluten-free pancakes are already mixed with maltose and glucose, and can be prepared in an instant. Perfect for breakfast or as a sweet snack, the lactose-free pancakes stand out for their fluffiness. Depending on whether the pancakes are to be prepared vegan or low in lactose, different ways of preparing them can be found on the packaging. The pancakes are especially delicious with Frusano’s rice syrup or a delicious Frusano fruit spread as a topping.

Baking mix for pancakes and waffles
Ingredients: Rice flour*, dried glucose sirup*, potato starch*, corn flour*, raising agent (sodium carbonate, potassium tartrate), sea salt. *certified organic.
Suitable for a low-fructose and low FODMAP diet: Fructose <0.5%, Sucrose <0.5%, Dextrose  17%, Maltose 1%.

Ingredients: Classic: 2 eggs, 175ml lactose free milk, 2 tablespoons neutral oil or 25g melted butter
Vegan: 175ml vegan milk alternative, 125g plant-based yogurt and 2 tablespoons liquid margarine or neutral oil.

Preparation: 
1. Stir the mix together with the other ingredients to form a smooth dough. Leave the dough to rest for 5 min.
2. Preheat the waffle iron or pan and grease lightly.
3. For waffles: fry 3 tablespoons of batter in the waffle iron until golden brown. For pancakes: place 3-4 individual blobs at medium heat and turn them, when there are small bubbles on the surface.
Recipe suggestion: Sprinkle with Frusano rice syrup or enjoy with a Frusano fruit spread.
