Curd Balls
Tasty, quickly prepared and fructose-free - our recipe for the typical carnival pastry will surely convince you at any time of the year.

Ingredients for the dough:
- 250g flour
- 250g curd (lactose-free if necessary)
- 100g Frusano Corn Sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons Fructose-free Vanilla Corn Sugar
- 1 pck. baking powder
- 1 tablespoon rum
- 1 pinch of salt
Other ingredients:
- 2 L sunflower oil
- 100g Frusano Corn Sugar
Preparation:
- Prepare a smooth mixture from all the ingredients for the dough.
- Heat the sunflower oil in a pot or deep fryer to about 180°C.
- Cut off balls with a tablespoon and bake in the hot oil for 2-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove the curd balls from the fat with a skimmer and place them in a bowl covered with kitchen towels.
- Roll the drained curd balls in the remaining Organic corn sugar
Tip: For those who like it chocolaty, simply chop 85g of Frusano Frusano Dark Chocolate into small pieces and stir into the dough.
