Ingredients for the dough:
- 200g butter (lactose free if necessary)
- 150g Frusano Corn Sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch salt
- 350g flour

Directions:
- With a hand mixer, beat together the butter, Organic Corn Sugar from Frusano, egg and salt until creamy.
- Sift the flour into the wet ingredients and work into a smooth dough. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour
- Knead the dough again and roll out onto a lightly-floured work surface to about 3mm. Cut out circles with a diameter of about 6cm. From half of the circles, cut out a small star.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (top and bottom heat). Place the circles and little stars on a baking-paper-lined baking pan and back on the middle rack of the oven for about 8-10 minutes. Let cool.
- Warm up the Organic Red Currant Spread from Frusano slightly, while stirring. Spread a little on each of the circles and top with one of the circles with a star cut out. Create little sandwiches with the stars in the same manner. Store in a cookie jar.
