Fructose-free desserts, better without ready-made products

However, this deficiency occurs especially often in those with fructose intolerance. Optimal dietary supplements are free of gluten, fructose, granulated sugar and lactose. Finished products such as fruit yoghurt are best avoided.
A good alternative here is usually natural yoghurt, which contains lactic acid bacteria. These calm the intestine. Depending on the compatibility, various low-fructose fruits or fructose- and sucrose-free chocolate can be combined with natural yoghurt. Depending on the intensity of intolerance, small amounts of low-fructose fruit may be enjoyed as dessert after eating. They are often better tolerated as dessert after a main meal than alone or as a snack. Sucrose should always be replaced with grain sugar, glucose or rice syrup.

Chocolate and jam are often used for desserts. For lactose-free and fructose-free desserts, they should be low in fructose. Light products are taboo because they often contain fructose or sorbitol. Sorbitol inhibits the transport of fructose in the body. Here, however, it depends on how strong the intolerance is and what amounts of milk sugar or fructose are tolerated. Because lactose and fructose intolerance are not allergies, small amounts can often be tolerated. For lactose-free desserts, for example, depending on the individual tolerance limit, sour milk products, such as natural yoghurt, can alternatively be processed.
